Opera Education and Training|
In order to facilitate the transition versus a sustainable model and sustainable agriculture an interdisciplinary efforts in research and teaching is needed. This require the input of different experiences, not only provided by researchers, but also farmers, consumers, policymakers and all the actors involved in the process.
Based on the experience gained through the research centre OPERA in the training field, the analysis of training needs and cognitive shortcomings in terms of sustainable approach, a spin off namely OPERA Educational and Training is recently founded (July 2016)

OPERA Research Centre - together with European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) and Syngenta - invited all the stakeholders at the "Greening Partnership Day", an open debate that took place in the European Parliament in Brussels on the 16th of October 2012.

6th Roundtable Stakeholders on CAP Reform|
OPERA organized its 6th Roundtable on the CAP reform under the umbrella of the Forum for the Future of Agriculture 2012, one of the most important early conferences in agriculture taking place in Brussels. The roundtable was focused on research priorities and respectively on policy framework for innovation for agriculture in the EU, in the context of CAP and next programming framework for research.
