Bee Health in Europe - An overview
Our “Bee health in Europe – Facts & Figures” compendium gave the most up-to-date information on the topic when it was published in August, 2011. Now, just more than a year later, we’re in a position to start compiling new information on bee health. In this overview, we highlight the still-valid main points of the earlier document while at the same time giving in the foreword a preview of new data that we will present in detail in our next full review, scheduled for publication in 2013.

Greening Partnership Day
ow do we build sustainable agriculture, replying to socio-economic challenges? OPERA Research Centre - together with European Landowners’ Organization (ELO) and Syngenta - invited all the stakeholders at the "Greening Partnership Day", an open debate that took place in the European Parliament in Brussels on the 16th of October 2012.

BIODIVERSITY, A CULTURE TO SHARE

On the 5th and 6th of June 2012, under the umbrella of the European Bees and Pollination Week at the European Parliament, was organized the conference “Biodiversity, a culture to share”. OPERA had an active participation with the presentation of “Concepts and practices to improve biodiversity in agricultural ecosystems” that was given by the director Prof. Ettore Capri.
