Holding a degree in Economic Social Sciences from the Università degli Studi di Firenze, after obtaining a Master SMEA in the management of the Agro-food sector, in 2014 he earn a Ph.D. from the doctoral school Agrisystem of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza. He is now a temporary research associate in the Istituto di Chimica Agraria ed Ambientale of the same university and works for the OPERA research center.
Within the activities which he is involved are included initiatives and research projects at national and European level especially regarding the sustainable use of plant protection products in agriculture and activities of training and scientific communication on sustainability in the agro-food sector.
He is now actively participating in 3 different European research projects (BROWSE, CAPEX2, SUPTRAINING), 1 national program (VIVA) and furthermore is involved as scientific moderator in the development and management of several web interactive platforms (OpenTEA, WOS, CaffExpo).
